The Lost Sisters By Holly Black

THE LOST SISTERS BY HOLLY BLACK
Get a glimpse of Taryn's dark and twisted mind. I am not a fan of Taryn but this book still fills my obsession for Folk of Air series.
If I did not have my ebook reader with me, I will not be able to discover that Holly Black created a short story to have a glimpse about Taryn of Folk Of Air Series. I am not a fan of Taryn but for the worth of the entire series, I know that I have to read it.

Summary From The Book:

(Taken from Holly Black's website)

Sometimes the difference between a love story and a horror story is where the ending comes…

While Jude fought for power in the Court of Elfhame against the cruel Prince Cardan, her sister Taryn began to fall in love with the trickster, Locke.

Half-apology and half-explanation, it turns out that Taryn has some secrets of her own to reveal.

My Thoughts:

Throughout our experience at The Cruel Prince, we all got Jude's point of view of the story. Now, it is different, we will get inside Taryn's head.

I did not enjoy this book as much as the trilogy but maybe because I am not a fan of Taryn. Reading this short story made me understood her better but still, she is far from my favorite characters from the series.

I advise that this short story is best read before you start reading The Wicked King. It is like most of our questions will be answered in this book.

The title is nice and obvious, like two sisters being lost in their way and even to each other.

My Favorite Line/s:

"You're awful. And the worst part is that you believe otherwise."

Rating: 3/5 because it is not that exciting but it fills my obsession for The Cruel Prince Trilogy.

Recommendation: If you loved the three books of Folk Of Air: The Cruel Prince, The Wicked King, and The Queen of Nothing - then you should also read this novella.
